Tearing Stripes off Zebras is an anthology of new literary writing by women involved with the Women’s Education Bureau (WEB) writers’ group. Established in the late eighties, WEB was led by poet Eavan Boland who served as the creative director and was committed to developing, mentoring, and promoting Irish women writers. Still active today, WEB is one of the longest-running writing groups in Ireland. This anthology of new poetry, prose, and drama, edited by Nessa O’Mahony, is dedicated to the memory of
Eavan Boland.

About the Author

Nessa O'Mahony is an award-winning poet. She is the author of several book includingThe Branchman and co-editor of Eavan Boland: Inside History with Siobhan Campbell.
