John Fuller taught poetry at Oxford University for thirty years. Fuller has won various major prizes for his poetry and for his brilliantly critical close readings of W. H. Auden. He won the Forward Prize, and was awarded the Braude Award for Light Verse by the American Academy of Arts and Letters.
