Bruce Maddy-Weitzman, senior research fellow at the Moshe Dayan Center, specializes in modern and contemporary Middle Eastern history, inter-Arab relations, and the modern Maghrib. He is the author of The Crystallization of the Arab State System, 194 5-19 54, also published by Syracuse University Press.
